How churches get listedChurches come from public directory data across U.S. metros (coverage grows with reader demand), plus churches readers request above. Every church enters the same review queue. No church can pay, apply, or ask its way to a better placement.
How the grace signal is scoredWe read each church’s own recent public sermons and score the teaching against a New Covenant rubric. The green badge appears only when repeated sermons, verified from actual transcripts, clear a high bar. Most churches don’t carry it, usually because we haven’t reviewed enough of their teaching yet, not because we’ve judged them.
What a score can’t tell youA sermon score reads public teaching. It can’t see a church’s leadership, culture, or how people are treated. Visit, ask questions, and weigh it for yourself. Everything here is an observation of a church’s own public content, never an endorsement.
How scores stay honestScores expire and churches are re-reviewed on a rolling schedule, badged churches most often. If a church’s teaching changes, its listing follows.
